Armstrong in first gospel show

For first time after turning to God, musician Armstrong Kalua held his gospel show in Lilongwe at the Sheaffer ICA marquee Sunday.
Kalua performed with artists that have made a mark on the local gospel scene like Peter Uyu Mlangeni, Marvellous Deeds, Violet Tengani, Patience Namadingo, Marching Soldiers and Sister Mirriam Kuseni in a show dubbed ‘The Gospel Greats Show’.
“Since my announcement that I have now turned to God, I have not held a show. So basically, this was to formally introduce myself to the gospel music lovers,” he said.
Armstrong also introduced his new songs including Higher Higher, Ndilandireni and Wayankha which will be put on an album later.
He said for now, it will be Lilongwe but he is pondering on hitting other parts of the country later in the year.
